Trans Bodies 101: AI Edition

Warning: Explicit graphic sexual, and disturbing, imagery below. Potentially triggering for themes of physical violence and abuse.

Herein a series of AI-generated works (produced October-November 2023) which reflect generally upon a specific form of the non-binary body as it has been discussed in my thesis. References are made to certain specific artists and their works, as well as reiterations of my own earlier recent practice produced for this research.

The facial and bodily models and references (all cisgender female) were the same as those originally used in my earlier comic/illustration works which attracted critical commentary from male viewers that my 'female' characters all looked trans - despite their cis origins. Herein with the use of AI, I have attempted to bring those early concepts into a form approaching realism (if not reality), and thereby embody the phiz/phys incongruity that is the very core of this blog and the research around it.

The series escalates from areas of fantasy and pornographic genres into pieces intentionally designed to provoke, upset and disturb - although the ideal audiences for those final works are unlkely to be viewing this blog.
